This tour does not reach the Sahara. To ride as far as the dunes near Merzouga, see our 6-day Sahara Tour.
The Atlas & Agafay Route
Leaving Marrakech, the circuit opens on Agafay's stony desert landscape and the shores of Lalla Takerkoust. Mountain roads lead through Ouirgane and Asni, then climb toward Oukaïmeden. The ride continues into the Ourika Valley and Setti Fatma before crossing villages around Tighdouine and Had Zrekten on the way to the historic ksar of Aït Ben Haddou.
This is the route's sequence of highlights. The guide confirms the exact roads, stops and overnight towns before departure, taking weather and group pace into account.
